Since Mevludin's trial, a juror has came forth with an affidavit swearing that she convinced other jurors to convict him based on past experiences she has had with Bosnians. Then, a new witness, a girlfriend of the victim, testified that Mevludin did not have a bat and was merely watching the fight. Others have filed affidavits as well. But still no new trial was granted.
