Mevludin Hidanovic came to America looking for a better life. And things were just starting to go well in his life. He worked his way up through various production jobs and decided to venture in a business of his own. Mevludin had met an American woman and was learning the differences in their cultures. They decided to marry after a few years of dating. All was great until June 24, 2006. Everything changed in an instant.
Update: The North Dakota Supreme Court has made a decision regarding Mevludin Hidanovic’s case. They have upheld Mevludin’s original conviction and denied the appeal. Mevludin is scheduled to be deported to Saravejo, Bosnia sometime late summer or early fall.
